09/22/08 - Thermawood Enhanced Burnable Fuel
Outdoor World is selling a new firewood product this fall / winter called
Thermawood. What is Thermawood and what are Thermalogs? It's a whole new
kind of wood product, our own mix of sawdust and natural wood by-products compressed
and shaped into "logs" that burn hotter, cleaner, longer and with more energy output
than regular barkless firewood. You don't need any special equipment to burn Thermalogs,
either. Whatever you use to burn your firewood logs should work fine.
We don't have any special packaging for our Thermalogs yet but if you're interested
in getting 2 times more BTU than a conventional
log at a great price, please contact us regarding
availability. In times like these, people don't need a product that looks pretty,
they need a product that's efficient, affordable and better than normal firewood.

08/01/08 - Firewood Prices Rising
The sinking dollar, rising fuel costs and other factors are contributing to a significant
increase in the cost of wood and firewood this year. Anyone who uses firewood and wood products
for heating should buy now and not wait until later in the season. We mean it (and we're not just trying to sell wood). This
upcoming winter is going to be rough and wood prices are going to get worse before they get better.
